Here in Colorado, driving up to the mountains and seeing all the Aspen trees changing colors is one of the most amazing things you will witness in this life. The cool breeze across your skin and the wonderful colors that only nature can provide of those classic fall yellow, red and green. We call this activity "Leaf Peeping"
We wanted to blend all those same feelings into one cup of coffee. We combined of South American coffees that at the first sip will whisk you away to the mountains to watch the leaves changing colors no matter where you are.
You'll taste crisp green apple juicy acidity up front paired with toffee in the middle and a balanced walnut finish. This coffee is great on all brewing preparations, but we highly suggest this coffee on a filter coffee preparation method.
Our favorite method is Kalita Wave 185. 21.5 grams of coffee on medium coarse grind. Total time is 3:30 with an output of 300g of liquid. Here in Boulder we use water temp of 200-201.
